Online Functional Skills Group Tuition Information
Our Functional Skills Group tuition seminars have been carefully crafted to ensure that no matter where you are on your revision journey, or when your exam date is, our service can still be of help. We have Level 2 groups available every day of the week, meaning you could cram in 5 hours of expert group tuition a week if you really wanted. Alternatively, if you want to take it slowly and have time in-between the groups to revise the topics which are covered, you can spread your group sessions out over months.

Frequently Asked Questions about our Functional Skills products
Each one of our Functional Skills tutors are highly DBS checked and qualified teachers. It doesn’t matter if you are sitting a Maths or English exam, our tutors are Functional Skill experts.
If you want a combination of the course walkthrough, the knowledge tester, or the exam technique groups, simply call our exam experts and they will tailor a tuition package to your needs. They will have information on what subject areas are being covered in each session, so they will be able to tailor your package to your weaknesses.
There will be group sessions daily for Functional Skills Maths & English Level 1 and Level 2. This means you can use your block of lessons within a week if you wanted. Alternatively, if you can only commit to group sessions on one day of the week, there will be different sessions each day in different weeks.
Unless you are based in York, Harrogate or Skipton, then we only offer online tuition, as this helps to bring costs down for our learners, and makes it more accessible and flexible for most people. We would recommend trying out online and seeing how it goes.
Online sessions are delivered through Google meets, Zoom, or a similar video call software, along with an interactive individual.
There will be between 5 and 10 learners in each group lesson with 1 tutor. Learners are grouped by ability and similar aims, meaning you will study topics that are relevant for your own progress. There are two different classes per subject, per day, meaning you are able to mix and match your purchases with your availability and learning preferences.
