It’s challenging to pinpoint an exact answer, but we aim to assess this from the initial lesson itself. If, from the outset of the 11 Plus tuition, your child faces difficulties with the content or feels overwhelmed by the exam preparation, our tutors will promptly bring this to your attention. The decision to continue with the tuition ultimately rests with you as a parent. However, our tutors will always provide candid feedback regarding your child’s progress and their ability to manage the demands of 11 Plus preparation.

Many parents wonder about the ideal time to begin 11 Plus tuition. Our recommendation is to commence in September or October of Year 5. This provides students with a solid 10-12 months of dedicated one-on-one tutoring tailored for the 11 Plus entrance exams. Starting more than 12 months ahead doesn’t necessarily enhance the chances of passing, while a period shorter than 10 months might not offer sufficient time to thoroughly cover the content and familiarise with the variety of questions presented in the eleven plus exams.

We only offer online tuition, as this helps to bring costs down for our learners, and makes it more accessible and flexible for most people. We would recommend trying out online and seeing how it goes.
